Aluminum entrance doors · Project configuration
Automatic Sliding Doors
Automatic sliding doors offer hands-free entry and smooth operation for commercial, retail and high-traffic residential entrances. The system includes the door panels, track, operator, sensor and safety edge — all coordinated as one assembly.

Where this system belongs
Automatic sliding doors are not standard manual sliding doors. The panel profile, track depth, operator interface, sensor placement and safety requirements must be reviewed as a complete system. Motor hardware, control logic and emergency egress requirements are separate from the basic door structure.
Choose by application
These are configuration directions for review. Materials, assemblies, suitability and supply scope are subject to confirmed project documents.
Single & double panel sliding
Single panels suit narrow entrances; bi-parting double panels handle wider openings. Confirm clear opening width, clear height and the required passage width for the traffic level.
Operator and sensor system
The operator motor, activation sensors, safety sensors and control unit form the automation system. Confirm activation method (radar, motion, push-button) and safety edge requirements.
Safety and emergency egress
Safety sensors, presence sensors and emergency break-out function must comply with local standards. Confirm applicable codes for the project country and occupancy type.
Enclosure and weather rating
The operator enclosure, track drainage and weatherstripping should be reviewed for exterior installations. Confirm IP rating, drainage path and any freeze protection needs.
Three decisions before choosing a system
Start with traffic and opening width
Daily traffic volume and required passage width decide the panel layout and operator capacity. Send expected traffic level, opening width and usage scenario.
Activation and safety must be specified
Activation method, safety edge, presence detection and emergency egress requirements are all separate specifications. Do not assume these are included in a basic door quote.
Review the complete assembly
The door structure, track, operator, sensor, control unit and safety edge are typically supplied as a matched system. Confirm which items are included in the quotation scope.
What to prepare for a quotation
Send drawings if you have them, and mark undecided items for review. Define the project scope before comparing prices.
