Aluminum entrance doors · Project configuration
Hinged Entrance Doors
A hinged entrance door provides reliable operation and a wide range of configurations. From narrow residential entries to wider commercial storefronts, the hinge detail and panel layout should match the opening and usage.

Where this system belongs
Hinged entrance doors use conventional edge hinges and are the most common entry-door type. Storefront configurations serve commercial applications where the door shares the facade grid with adjacent fixed glazing. This is not a pivot door — hardware, panel size range and threshold design follow different logic.
Choose by application
These are configuration directions for review. Materials, assemblies, suitability and supply scope are subject to confirmed project documents.
Residential entrance doors
Single or double panels for villa, apartment and townhouse entries. Confirm clear opening, swing direction, threshold level and any sidelight or fanlight requirements.
Storefront entrance glazing
For shopfronts and showrooms where the entrance shares the facade grid. Coordinate the door with adjacent fixed glazing, transom and the storefront framing system.
Glass and panel options
Full glass, partial glass or solid aluminium panels. Glass thickness, tempering and the frame depth should be reviewed together before pricing.
Hardware and access control
Handles, locks, door closers and access control interfaces should be specified for the intended use and traffic level. Motorisation is a separate scope to confirm.
Three decisions before choosing a system
Match hinge to use
Standard residential hinges differ from heavy-duty commercial hardware. Confirm traffic level, panel weight and the applicable hardware standard.
Coordinate with the facade grid
For storefront entrances, the door must align with the surrounding facade framing. Send the facade grid and opening dimensions for coordination.
Clarify access and control scope
Standard quotation includes the door leaf, frame and basic hardware. Access control, motorisation and auto-operator are separate items to specify.
What to prepare for a quotation
Send drawings if you have them, and mark undecided items for review. Define the project scope before comparing prices.
