Architectural aluminum · Project configuration

Curtain Walls & Facade Systems

A glazed elevation, a shop entrance and an overhead skylight meet the building in different ways. Start with the facade layout and its connections, then coordinate glass, aluminum members, opening panels and finishes as one project scope.

Silver-framed glass facade around a two-storey gallery corner; application visual

Application visual showing how the system integrates into the building facade.

A corner, opened to light.

Glass turns the corner. A quiet grid gives the gallery its rhythm.

Building envelope

Where this system belongs

This group concerns the exterior building envelope and facade. Interior room division belongs to glass partitions; balcony edge protection belongs to railings. Aluminum cladding and screens are facade sub-configurations, not a substitute for the glazed weather enclosure.

Choose by application

These are configuration directions for review. Materials, assemblies, suitability and supply scope are subject to the confirmed project documents.

Configuration visuals show how YULUX systems integrate into real building projects. Dimensions, construction and supply scope are confirmed during the quotation process.

Curtain wall glazing

For multi-bay external elevations. Identify the visible grid, floor edges, fixed glazing and opening locations on the elevation; support conditions and joints need a project-specific review.

Storefronts & entrance glazing

For shopfronts, showrooms and ground-floor entrances. Coordinate display glazing with door operation, threshold levels, signage and the surrounding wall rather than treating the door as an isolated item.

Application visual of a ceramics shopfront with dark green framing, paired glass doors and display windows beside a pale stone wall

A view into the shop.

The display draws the eye. The paired doors give visitors a clear way inside.

Skylights & glazed roofs

For overhead daylight openings and covered circulation areas. Roof slope, water discharge, overhead glazing requirements, cleaning access and the supporting structure must be agreed together.

Light from above.

An atrium gathers people beneath a shared roof. Start with the space below, then work through the glazing divisions and roof connections.

Aluminum panels & facade screens

For opaque facade zones, louvers and decorative grilles. Mark panel divisions, returns, fixing access and the intended visual openness. Ventilation, shading or weather protection requirements require separate confirmation.

Application visual of an opaque aluminium panel facade with visible panel divisions and a building corner

Where the facade becomes solid.

Opaque panels sit alongside the glazed areas. Their joints and corner returns belong in the same elevation drawing.

Application visual of horizontal bronze-coloured shading blades above a window and a vertical grille beside it on a pale brick facade

Another layer at the window.

Horizontal blades extend above the glass. A vertical grille adds a different rhythm beside it.

Three decisions before choosing a system

Begin at the building connection

Provide floor-edge and wall sections, substrate information and available fixing zones. A matching facade appearance does not establish that the same connection detail will work on another building.

Separate appearance from performance

Choose sightlines, visible caps, glass appearance and finish direction, then submit the project’s wind, water, thermal, acoustic or fire requirements for verification. No performance is implied by the illustration.

Plan openings and maintenance

Locate entrance doors, opening vents, drainage outlets and cleaning access before locking the grid. Confirm who supplies interfaces to adjacent roofing, waterproofing and building services.

What to prepare for a quotation

Send drawings if you have them, and mark undecided items for review. Define the project scope before comparing prices.

From project drawings to an agreed package

  1. Mark the facade scope

Separate glazed bays, entrances, skylights and opaque panels on the drawings. Flag missing dimensions and interfaces.

  2. Review the connections

Coordinate system direction, glass, anchors, drainage and opening hardware against the supplied project information.

  3. Confirm before ordering

Agree the reviewed drawings, finish references, itemized quotation and supply boundaries. Required engineering and approvals remain project-specific.

  4. Plan delivery by elevation

Confirm member and panel identification, packing sequence, handling access and installation handover requirements before release.
